Introduction: Criminal prevention is based on the effects of the criminal act. Although, according to some theorists, punishment after a crime is not preventive is not generally denial of its preventive consequences in general. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the optimal pattern of law enforcement management in criminal prevention of crime.
Method : This study is applied in terms of purpose and is descriptive-analytical in terms of research method. The statistical population in the qualitative sector is based on theoretical saturation, 15 law enforcement experts and in the quantitative section, all the chiefs and executives of the Greater Tehran Preventive Police are 120. Sample size in quantitative section was determined by simple random sampling method and was selected based on Morgan table (n = 92). Data collection tool is interview and questionnaire. For data analysis, sample size adequacy tests, factor analysis and paired t-test were used in SPSS 18 software and for model testing by Smart Software. PAL. SS »was used.
findings: According to the findings of the study, 17 indicators in police management in criminal prevention of crime were identified and categorized into three components of intelligence and security measures, structural measures and quality of police actions. However, all three components with factors related to factor loadings of / 893. The variance explained all factors, but the results of paired t-test showed a significant difference between the existing status of law enforcement management in criminal prevention of favorable status.
Conclusion: Out of the total number of law enforcement measures in the aspect of criminal prevention, the Qualification component of the measures received the first rank; the component of information-security measures, the second rank and the structural measures component, the third. Police need to put in place practical and practical applications to improve the quality of identified indicators to improve the status of crime prevention measures and reduce crime costs.
